I downloaded the FireFox DownloadHelper plugin and installed it. Then, I tried to download a video from YouTube. It saved and everything, and when I tried to play the video, it said I needed something like Prism Video Converter Plus, which costs money. I tried using the Download & Converter, after having to download the ConverterHelper. Now, I can download videos, but they come small, mute, and with the DownloadHelper logo. What do I do?? Does anyone how I can download vmozilla firefox pluginsideos? I'm at the end of my rope here and I'm almost hysterical.
I can think of two options:
1: Download a free converter. (they're all over the internet)
2. Use this website to convert it, or paste the youtube link and it will download it for you; just chose your format. : (my personal favorite)
If you're just downloading videos from YouTube, forgetting DownloadHelper. Get 1-Click YouTube Video Downloader, which is a lot better. You can download and convert videos in FLV, MPmozilla firefox plugins3 and MP4 as well as HD and 3GP
Good luck

Try using the Flashgot add-on (flashgot.net) in conjunction with Flashget (www.flashget.com) -- this solution is much better than Download Helper, in my opinion. Also, make sure you have a program that can play FLV videos, since this is the format the Youtube and many other video sites provide. I recommend VLC (www.videolan.org/vlc), which can pretty much play anything you throw at it.
